July Newsletter – Jenbacher J612 Arrives in the UK
July has been another busy and exciting month for the Green Combined Power team. Our engineers recently returned from Turkey after successfully dismantling and removing an ultra-low-hour Jenbacher J612 CHP generating set from the Saray Holding facility.
The engine has now safely arrived in the UK and we are already preparing for its next chapter. It will be installed for one of our longstanding clients in the Northeast, replacing an ageing MTU 4000 Series CHP unit.
Installation work begins on Monday, with the project involving full integration into the site’s existing heat recovery and CO₂ enrichment systems. Thanks to our in-house expertise across mechanical, electrical, controls and commissioning disciplines, we are able to manage every stage of the project efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for the client.
We look forward to sharing further updates and progress photographs as this exciting installation develops over the coming weeks. At Green Combined Power, we’re proud to continue delivering practical, high-quality CHP solutions that maximise reliability, efficiency and long-term value for our customers.
